DINING DOLLARS
Dining Dollars add flexibility to your dining options; and are yours to spend like cash at all Dining Services locations. As an additional value, Dining Dollars are tax exempt. Dining Dollars carry over from fall to spring for students who remain on a meal plan during second semester but end on the last day of the academic calendar and are there after forfeited.

Take 3Take 3
Take 3, also known as “swaps”, is designed as a quick meal on the go from a select menu in the Bistro. Swaps are deducted from your weekly Higgins Café meals. Dining plan participants are welcome to exchange one swap for one meal per meal period in the Bistro until 9pm including the All Access Plan. Please remember that Swaps are for the meal participant only as a convenience and are nontransferrable.

Please Note:
  • Dining Dollars roll over from Fall for students who remain on a meal plan during Spring Semester.  Dining Dollars not used by the end of Spring Semester expire..
  • There are NO Meal Period Restrictions in Higgins Cafe
  • Either the All Access, 15 Plan, 12 Plan or 10 Plan is required for 1st and 2nd Year Students.
  • All Meal plans are open to 3rd Year, 4th Year & Graduate students
  • All meal plans are eligible for Take 3 Swaps in the Bistro - one meal per meal period, including All Access-

Please note: All first and second year students living on-campus are required to purchase a meal plan.   Exceptions are rare and and limited to speicific circumstances through an exception process.  Students who have dietary or allergy concerns are encouraged to contact Dining Services prior to beginning the exception process for assistance on meeting their needs.
